Our Story

We met online, and our first online date happened to fall on Valentine’s Day, although neither of us attached any significance to the holiday at the time.

We agreed to chat briefly for 15 minutes, but the conversation went on for several hours. And we haven’t stopped talking since. A week later, we were already talking about marriage, and a month later, we met in person. We fell in love with each other even before we could meet in person.

Distance, time, and differences in language and culture didn’t stop us—they only strengthened our confidence that this was true love.

Gifts

Your presence at our wedding truly means so much to us and is the greatest gift we could ask for. We know it takes a lot of planning and preparation to travel overseas to celebrate with us—especially for those with children—and we are so grateful you are making the trip.
Please know that no gifts are necessary—celebrating together is more than enough for us.

Flowers

In Ukrainian culture, where Yuliia is from, flowers are deeply cherished as a gesture of love and appreciation. In fact, Ukraine is one of the few countries where flower kiosks are commonly open 24 hours a day—reflecting a culture where love can be celebrated at any moment. If you feel inspired to bring something, we would warmly welcome a bouquet of flowers in place of a gift.

Attire

We don’t want to limit your choice of outfit — we want you to feel comfortable and like yourself. As the wedding will take place surrounded by nature, soft, natural tones will look especially beautiful. For men, black or any other classic suit colors are welcome. We kindly ask you to avoid bright neon colors and bold prints.
You might want to bring a light layer for the evening.
